Seitech were introduced to this project following the award of the contract to Scarbro. We were primarily contracted to perform the ‘jacking and grouting’. However, we offered to supply and install the structural steel elements too. Due to our late involvement, the structural steel trade had already been awarded. The jacking and grouting was successfully completed. When asked to introduce slight changes, they were adopted with no extra costs to the client. This project required some additional supporting elements to be positioned in specific locations under the primary structural elements along with new foundations. The new columns required positive load transfer to the existing structure in the form lifting structure and packing once final set was achieved. |
